everyone, just found this and thought it was very interesting. Am I reading this right..both weeks combined into one rally?

SPRING RALLY 2009 NEWS:
2009 Spring Rally IS ON! And planned for May 7-17 2009. Due to all the publicity and anti-biker sentiment in the media we suspect that the rally for 2009 will be an even stronger rally. Currently it is being proposed that if we combine the Memorial Weekend Rally with this rally (a.k.a. Harley week) during these dates it will greatly improve the size of the rally and the variety of happenings avery motorcyclist can enjoy. Combining the rallies benefits the Memorial Weekend riders so much more with the added duration of the rally and the quantity of events they can partake in all over the Grand Strand. Other suggestions is to move the rally to the last week in April. Check back here for future updates on the rally.

Don't think combining the two would be to pretty, If they do, I guess the upcoming FALL RALLY will be my last.

I really never understood how in this day and time, there were separate events to begin with.  Everything else in life isn't racially separated.  Can't we all just get along?  Or maybe I'm just missing something here?

It ain't a race thing. It's a dumb ass doing wheelies while passing me in the same lane, et. al. thing. Oh, and it's crazy enough w/ the harleys in town. Let's see, double that and how long will the traffic tie up on 17N be?
