Hello all,
I'm really not a post person - two babies that need attention, demanding job, wife, yada, yada, yada......... But when I want to get jazzed up about my favorite passion, I read this site. I currently own a 08 Pewter Pearl road glide that I put a little customizing in it but have my name on the first Silver 09 SERG. The O/B is by far the most striking and next the Yellow but for me, I would never get tired of the silver color SERG - In my opinion, silver is timeless and thats my story and I'm sticking to it. Does anyone know the release date for the silver SERG?

Welcome aboard Byrant. There have been some conflicting reports but the most trusted ones say that all of the colors will be produced at the same time in alternating order. Now is the time to get that deposit in.

I ordered my new SE Road Glide this morning , Orange was my choice , should be around Dec. or January the best they can figure. I will be posting for sale my 03 SERK at the end of this season.

   I don't see anything in the '09 line up that even comes close to comparing to my Duracell, so I won't be buying any new bike yet.

I heard that Willie G.'s new personal ride is the new Tri Glide and has been specially painted for him in the same paint scheme as the '08 105th Anniversary Screamin' Eagle Ultra...

I guess that'll have to be considered a double pack of "D" size Duracells.

Obviously Willie has great taste in colours and I should receive a photo of his bike in the next couple of days which I will post once I have it.

I simply love my '08  and will be hanging on to her for quite some time.

Did you get the other deposits back?

Yes, without any questions. The dealerships where I had deposits were unable to locate the bike I wanted so they each gave me my deposit back. I made this stipulation to the salesperson(s)/dealership(s) when I gave the deposits.

Thanks for the welcome Hard10. The Sale's guy at my dealership in MA has been sick for the last couple of days and he handles the books for new bike delivery and no one wanted to commit to a delivery date for the Silver SERG until he made it back - I'll check with him this coming week.

Miker: Thanks for your South Florida connection and offer to ride the Silver 2009 SERG to me - where esle in the world would a forum member offer to ride a new 2009 SERG from Florida to MA for free, just to help out another biker other than on CVOHarley.com! You guys rock, even though Miker may have some personal motives to do so.
