Demo Ride - 2009 SEUC

I test drove a 2009 Screaming Eagle Ultra today at Appalacian HD in Carlisle, PA.  The HD Demo Ride Truck was there.  They had the first batch of 2009 Harleys for the public to test drive.

I rode the 2009 SEUC for about twenty minutes....seat seemed to be more comfortable, scoot was a dog when it came to power....first and second gears made a lot of noise, second more than first....it was just OK....after riding my 2008 SEUC 50 miles up there....with Rineharts & a race tuner....the 09 was a little sluggish....my first SEUC was an 06, then I bought an 07 and now I have an 08....sorry the 2009 did nothing for me to consider moving up again!!!!!
Nice scoot, but happy with what I currently have!

Good report Napalm (not really)

You said the SEUC4 was sluggish?
Did you notice how many miles were on it.
I help with the "Demo" rides at my dealer and most of the bikes with less than 50 miles are a little sluggish.
How did the paint look?
Did it stand out?

Adjustable wind deflectors, nice rims, funky tour pack rack, great spot for the driver intercom hook up, but someone needs to ask... was the rear cylinder leaking yet?

How was the orange on it, it looks more red.  I like the rims.  How was the frame, did it seem more balance, better turns?
