The Springsteen concert in the Veterans Park was outstanding - the guy gave us three and a half hours of unbroken entertainment - tremendous.

We left Milwaukee on the Sunday and lunched at The Green Bay Packers Stadium in Green Bay. Curly's Pub was good, but the barstewards wouldn't let us see the hallowed turf unless we bought an hour long tour ticket. Wonder if the guy has managed to remove that football yet!

and so onto Doc's HD in Shawano County. This has to be one of the most interesting Dealerships I have ever been too. A car and bike museum along with a zoo plus the fastest Panhead ever built. You have to go there if you are ever in the area.

The bike pictured was built in 17 days just prior to the 105th in Milwaukee. It has four 45 cu in Flathead engines which all drive the rear wheel in unison. Doc trailered it down to Milwaukee and rode it in the Parade along with four passengers.

We stayed here for the night - it was a B & B nestled in the woods near Marinette WI. It is owned by a lovely couple called Jim & Lily Shea and is called Shea-Dy Pines. It is built from 60 tons of Engelman Spruce and was without doubt the nicest place we stayed on the whole trip.

Go there - tell em Nige and Jan sent you.

The gallery on the first floor which looked out onto a huge woodland meadow that was full of Whitetail Deer when we arrived.
