Great roads through northern Michigan heading toward Manitoulin Island for our next nights stop. Pity about the sh*tty weather again

The last bridge we crossed in the USA just before we went across the border into Ontario, Canada.

What a great little wooden bridge we crossed as we headed for Manitoulin island.

Our digs for the night. South Bay Guest House, South Bay, Manitoulin Island - this little village was so laid back it nearly fell of it's rocking chair. We had a superb dinner that night at a place called The Garden Gate Restaurant which was about ten minutes ride from the digs. After dinner we rode back through haunting ethereal mists that would have frightened the pants off the Devil himself.

The lady who owned the B & B also ran an excellent little Gallery and gift shop. Most of the goods inside were made by local people. Well worth a look.

We arrived in Toronto that night - this was where we had booked dinner - the CN Tower.

[BalDeagle]

The Blue Jays were playing at home that night - I think this was the best seat in the house. We could actually see the pitcher throwing the ball though we were too far up to see the ball.

The views of Toronto from the revolving restaurant are stunning and the food was very good too. A little pricey, but well worth the extra for the experience.

The next morning we delivered the two bikes (which had completed nearly 16,500 flawless miles between them) to the airport and prepared them for their return journey home. Once we had sorted the bikes and the necessary paperwork - (which was a nightmare as they said they only had room for one bike on the flight, we sorted that eventually after about two hours of messing around) - we hired a Ford Escape and headed off for our last two days in Niagara Falls.

This was the view that greeted us from our bedroom window at The Sheraton Fallsview Hotel - The Horseshoe Falls.
