Crossing the ferry from Galveston to Port Bolivar. We remarked on all the wonderful houses built on stilts in Port Bolivar which just a few short weeks later would be trashed by Hurricane Ike - scary !

Jan feeds the Alligator at Prejeans Restaurant Lafayette - dinner was great here, make it a place to stop if you happen around this way. I had the Gumbo - fantastic.
