From today's Rapid City Journal:

Clifton "Click" Baldwin, 54, died Tuesday evening at St. Patrick Hospital after undergoing surgery, said Capt. Greg Hintz with the Missoula County sheriff's department.

The Montana Highway Patrol said a motorcycle driven by Baldwin was westbound in a no-passing zone on U.S. Highway 12 near Lolo Tuesday morning when he tried to pass a car that had slowed down and signaled a left hand turn. The motorcycle crashed into the back of the car.

Baldwin and 14 members of the Hamster's Motorcycle Club were traveling to Sturgis, S.D.

Baldwin was the owner of the Carolina Harley-Davidson Buell motorcycle dealership in Gastonia, N.C.

Also Tuesday, a man from Tacoma, Wash., died in a motorcycle crash near Lodge Grass.

Big Horn County officials say 58-year-old Lannie Scearay was westbound on Interstate 90 in a construction zone, when his rear tire blew out and he lost control of his motorcycle. He died shortly after arriving at a Billings hospital.

Are they saying he made contact with the rear of a car in an attempt to pass the car that was signaling to make a left turn?  Doesn't make sense for an experienced rider. Could not have seen the signal.
