Hello to all from Nashville. I just bought a new 105th Anniversary Edition CVO Electra-Glide about 3 weeks ago, and found this awesome sight a few nights ago. I (reluctantly) traded my 100th anniversary Heritage Classic - which was a great bike that I took across the country a couple of times. But the allure of a 110cu engine, a 6 speed gear box and all of the goodies was too much to resist. I've already taken the new bike to Indy and B'ham and the trips were very enjoyable. The bike is smooth, powerful and very comfortable at highway speeds. It IS hot, especially stopped and at slow speeds, but I expected that from rides I had taken on other electra-glides. That is one drawback between the Heritage and the E-Glides - you practically sit ON the motor. Probably will put heat shields on it soon.
I'm a bit nervous after reading about oil leaks on the 110 and potential fuel filter problems after reading the posts on this site, but at least I know what to watch for. Glad I bought the 7 year warranty.
Thanks for reading and thanks to the host and all of the contributors to this informative and nicely constructed site.
