New to Site and new to CVO SEUC Soon maybe

Hello. I ride a 03 Ultra Classic and 07 Softail Custom. I have ordered 09 SEUC (Red One) that should be delivered in Dec-08. I have been reading this site for about a year. I see even with a small leak all say they love the SE bikes. Does anyone regret buying the SE instead of customising the stock bike??

I am excited about coming one of elite owners of a SE Bike. I am not to excited about turning loose that much money!! I hope it is worth it. Thanks.

There've been two price increases since I bought my '07 SEUC.  I'd do it again.  I love it all the time.  only you will know if it's truly worth it.  Riding it is the only way to get your money's worth and your plentiful stable will mean the riding time will be dilute.  Welcome to the forum!  :cherry:

Don't regret buying my '05  :cherry: even one little bit. Only regret is living in Ohio and not being able to ride it year round.

Welcome aboard, and don't think twice about buying it. You'll love it like the rest of us and will do what you have to after you see what it needs! I'm one of the most critical when it comes to this. I've blasted HD for their lack of Q & QC in the name of higher shareholder returns, and locking out the aftermarket with their patented changes. That's because I love my bike, not cause I hate it! I don't regret it one bit, and would do it again today in a flash. But be prepared and don't think it'll be perfect. You're paying for chrome, paint, and mild performance, not any better quality or anything else. It's just another HD in that regard. We'll always be here to help too! :2vrolijk_21:

Best thing I ever did.  Got rid of my Heritage (I loved it but started to ride 2 up) for an '08 SEUC. Damn what a change.  It's wonderful.  No problems so far.  8K since Dec 07.

Welcome from Ohio. You'll love the ride. I've got 6600 on mine since 4/7/08 and no major problems yet. I did run my VIN through HD's service site and I will be getting a letter for the Prod 0905 soon.

Maybe, maybe Jorge. We can talk about the relative benefits of the Sunshine State vs. the Carolinas over a cold one in Milwaukee. Agreed? Next year the wife retires and she does so in the late fall. She's wanting to hang around for the future grandkids. I'm hoping a winter at home changes her mind!!!!
