Kuryakyn adjustable rear pegs
« on: August 01, 2008, 03:59:06 PM »

I would like to install a set of adjustable rear pegs from kuryakyn, but was wondering if anyone with D&D exhaust has had any trouble installing them.  It sure doesn't look like there is much room near the dummy pipe. Of course, assuming that there is somebody that has them and has the d&d setup.  :nixweiss:

I have the Kuryakyn adustable pegs with D and D Fat Cats. Room was not a problem but I do not have the left dummy pipe. If you need pics I will try and get some tomorrow. Good luck. jj

Hey jj, where ya been? I would'nt mind some pics of them w/the FatCat. Binx was asking about them. Can you use an HD Ironside footpeg with the Kury mount? Thanks. :2vrolijk_21:

Hoist, Hopefully these will help. You have to use a harley peg mount to use the HD ironside footpeg. Will send a pic of what I did.

Howie, This is how I mounted my ironside pegs. You have to drill the hole out on the Kury adjustable arm to accept the HD mount.

Howie, You will really like this one! There were to many wires for me so I had the local shop do the install. Will send two of the gauges and then one of the oil temp connection.

Not sure if I will keep the Techmount for the Zumo now. It was on lower part of bars but I just moved it up so that I could see gauges. Any suggestions?

Excellent stuff jj!!! Your bike looks AWESOME!!! :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3:

Really nice installation. Your gage package looks great. Still have that oil temp gauge you sent me, in the box. Your tempting me to start looking for a 3 gauge bracket and another gauge housing now! ??? ;D

Those Kury's look good too. I'll show em to Binx. I'm not a fan, but if she wants em............................you know the deal! ;)

Beautiful job jj! How's the bike running these days. Like the seat too! The blue piping is a nice touch! :2vrolijk_21:

They fit fine on my '04, haven't tried them on the '08 yet (both D&D w/ gost pipe).

Hoist, you might as well go ahead and order the kury adj pegs. When she finds out she would have a choice for foot placement on long rides, well it will be a done deal. lol. However that will only be a very small sacrifice for you to make and I am sure you won't mind. Bike has been having a little bit more vibration than usual. I had wanted to have several long days of riding this summer so as to see if it was going to hold up or not but my mister mom duties have not allowed me to do that. Have yet to do any motor performance upgrades because I was waiting to see what hd was going to do and did not want to have any of those w........ problems. Guess now that my bike will soon be "enhanced" I can proceed without fear of failure. yeah right. lol. Would like to do at least a cam in the near future. Dealer recommends se cam, of course, though I am leaning towards a wood cam. Haven't had the time to read about how your build has been holding up but I truly hope that all is well as you certainly deserve it to be so. jj.

Great,  I was hoping they would fit.

By the way, Nic pics above.  Love those ironsides.... :2vrolijk_21:

When I say they fit fine, they did, but I had to take the pipe off, install them & then put the pipe back on.
