Yeah, I really like the way that breaks things up!  Especially, since there's nothing you can do about the black speaker grills.  It tones the orange down a bit and makes the lines flow down along the sides of the fairing better, too!

Sreamin?  What do you think of the handle bars? Are they the same as the RG stock bar as far as pull back and height?  Thanks Doc.

Two dealers within 10 miles of me and they have the Priced jacked up $3000.00 over MSRP. Not  good.  Doc

1st answer: I like them. Better than my SEEG.
2nd: I don't know what the stock RG has. Sorry.

FWIW I'm 6'1" w/ a 34 / 35 sleeve and I reach them well. Their angle seems as if it will be comfortable on the long rides. The wife liked the looks as they are wider. As delivered they will not adjust back very much further as that will put them into the tank at full lock.

Going orange. Did some miles on the red bike last couple of days and damn it does good. Orange bike needs to get some miles on it and I'm really anxious to do so. Wasn't able to score a couple of things I wanted like saddlebag guards (really like the guard bags that attach to them) and a 15" windshield in time but guess we'll do w/out on this trip.

Boy I'm hoping mine shows up this Tuesday.  I had a ship date of 7/28 so I'm over 3 weeks behind.  Even if it comes in this week my dealer tells me it takes about 5 to 7 business days to get the paperwork from Harley.  That sounds like a load of crap, Harley told me last week when I called them that all paperwork comes with the bike when they get it.  Boy I gotta tell you dealing with the dealers gives me great job security, if I ever lose my job, pretty sure I could sell harleys and do a better job than the dealer I'm dealing with.  I learn more from this board than the dealer seems to know.  Then like 3 days after I told my salesman about it he will call and say yea you were right. LOL After I saw the bike on a another dealers floor, it's really eating at me.
Just want my bike.  Can't get over the lack of info when waiting on one of these.  So congrats to you that have them.

Sorry about all the delays fellas 'cause I'm really enjoying mine. Did a little 250 mile jaunt this past Sat. w/ the BSR. Smooth, powerful, and just plain bad a$$ whenever we stop. I was a little concerned over the BSR's lack of wind protection and the comfort of the seat over a distance and she gave it the thumbs up for Milwaukee. By utilizing the cruise I got right around 40 mpg traveling in the 72 to 75 mph range. I'll take that.  The bike continues to be very responsive to handlebar input and the notion of passing is merely a little twist of the wrist. Neutral continues to be harder to find than it ought to be and that's after shifting to Bel Ray in the tranny. It's getting better but it's still often easier to just use my hand at a stop than tapping up or down w/ my foot. I'm getting better w/ the wire throttle as opposed to the traditional cables. Wire is much more sensitive so it can be a jerky ride until you adapt to it. The 12" windshield is doing ok, not great, just ok and I'm looking to replace it for serious touring. Perhaps in Milwaukee?
We are missing the tourpak. We're used to living out of it while traveling and the idea of living out of a saddlebag is a little foreign. I went w/ the detachable tour pak rack and we'll be bungying the soft bag behind the passenger backrest. Hope to be able to tie it down tight enough to make an acceptable back rest for the BSR.
