My wife wants to get a new seat for my bike, an 08 CVO Dyna, because as a passenger she is uncomfortable on it. I think I have narrowed it down to either a Mustang Day Tripper or a Harley Reach seat. Does anyone have any input?

Leave the bike like it is and buy a Electra Glide either a SEEG, SEUC or even a SERK.
Then and only then will she ride in comfort!

She Just gave me this bike as a surprise gift so that is out of the question. Now if I bought it I would not change it and tell her not to get on.

Hi,
I own a Day Tripper, and to be perfectly honest, if all you're gonna do is ride down to Sonic for bike night once a week, she'll be fine.  There ain't much to the pillion, but it sure looks slick on any motorcycle...........especially on a bagger sans Tour Pak.
However if you're gonna do stuff like travel considerable distances, or even the occasional 100 mile Saturday afternoon lunch run, your bride will appreciate a seat with some substance.  Mustang has plenty of choices in that realm as does Corbin.
So....get a Day Tripper.  YOU will love it!  But if you want the little lady to enjoy the ride, get HER a seat that will be kind to her backside.  After all, if she ain't happy, you can bet you'll be miserable.   :2vrolijk_21:

Get a seat with a larger aft part......it won't look as good, but she'll be happier......and that's what you're after at this point.  Maybe she'll serce herself the next scooter.  ;) har!  spyder

Good answer here, but how about taking her up one more click..  :mango: Buy one of the three Silver-Black suggested but give the Dyna to your wife and let her buy her own seat..  :2vrolijk_21:

Get her a bike of her own or try a trike , it worked out for my wife and I . She loves riding her own , no looking at the back of a helmet. :2vrolijk_21:

Sundowner is a real good seat my wife loves it and so do I. It's good for long hauls.

I just got a Sundowner, yesterday, for my 2005 SE Fat Boy. The wife refused to sit on the stock SE passenger, pillion pad, which is only 6" wide and hard as a rock. The Sundowner has a 12 1/2" wide pass. pillion and a lot better padding.
The reason I went with the Sundowner, was they let me put it on the bike at the dealer. This let my wife check out the seat comfort and I was able to see how it effected my reach to the handlebars. It also had a lot of good reviews on the forums.
