Finally Got New Solo Seat Danny Grey

Finally got seat in mail and installed 10 minutes ago.... 

What do you guys think?   It slams you down very low.  I didnt even get a chance to drive it yet.

Is this an ultra with the tourpack removed,i like the look very much and it seems better for the small running about locally.

Yes this is a 2006 Screaming Eagle Ultra with tour pack and amp removed.

Looks great, enjoy your "new ride". Here is a pic with my new Corbin Youngs seat, its starting to break in nicely and is quite comfortable.

A question and a thought. Does the chrome tube that the licence plate bolted to have any use now that the plate is on the fender? My suggestion would be to remove it for a cleaner look.  Seat is great , Danny Gray does really nice work and his style is #1.

good question I was thinking that myself.    skycuse can maybe answer please.  I am also looking for a nice piece to screw into unused stock seat mounting spot which is now exposed

I didn't notice that until someone else pointed it out to me (honest, I swear).  At least I didn't go off on a tangent with it (I must be very tired).

Tom, a few questions about your beautiful seat: How did you order that seat? What did you tell them so that they knew what you wanted? ie black ostrich insert with marbleized black side panels "whatcha ma call its". Was there an actual part number to get the exact same seat that you have? Next, and almost as important, do you have a BSR and do they like it?

Mike, you have inspired me to at least look at doing the conversion myself. I started doing some searching and came across this:
