for those waiting on a cvo..

seen the fax that H-D sent the dealers.. cvo touring bike are running 8 business days late up to 3 weeks in some places....

& my road glide left today (sold) now im nervous..

What do you mean when you say it left today? If your dealer can supply you with a VIN then your bike has been produced and is on a truck 'somewhere'.

Normal, normal, normal.   Some members of this site waited months for 04's.  I waited almost 3 months on my 06...so 3 weeks, though painful, is nothin'.

Yeah, that just sounds like the backlog created by the initial orders flowing in.  Can't have 'em all sittin' there ready to ship at the beginning of the model year. :nixweiss:

I feel ya, I shipped my SEEG to New Mexico las week.  I could have ridden all weekend too.  The SERG was supposed to be shipped on July 30th.  Then, I found out it's three weeks out.  The dealership is calling about every other day for me and trying to get a VIN though.

Actually they are just sitting around asking, "Is it bad enough that we shouldn't send them out?  If in eighteen months we have to start fixing them, what's the least we can get by with?"  "Can we stall until the warranty is out?"

I had to wait 5 months with money down at one dealer, endured the strike in York, then bought from another dealer in 2 States over so 3 weeks is a walk in the park. Drink more beer...time goes by quicker when your having fun

If you're like the rest of us........you'll probably have a few sleepless nights before you take possession.  Then a few nights where you wake up and bypass the refrigerator and go into the garage....just to get one more peak to hold you till morning. ;D

One of my dealers have not heard anything.  HD is not taking orders for SERG's.  Delaers will get what they get.  I tried to get an SERG for the second quarter because bothe SERG's coming in for the 1st quarter were sold already.  MOCO said dealership was not getting any SERG's second quarter.  And they are not being very helpful if you want to change color either!!!
