YES IM A DEADBEAT ALSO I DON'T EVEN HAVE A CREDIT CARD... BUT I HAVE NOTICED THAT SOME OF YOU ARE SAYING THAT YOU PAY OFF YOUR BALANCES AT THE END OF THE MONTH AND STILL RECIEVE CASH BACK AT THE END OF THE YEAR... WHICH ARE THE COMPANIES DOING THIS?  DID YOU KNOW IN MISSOURI IF YOUR CREDIT SCORE IS BAD YOUR CAR INSURANCE GOES UP... B/S  :-\ :nixweiss:
The card I use (HD) doesn't give cash back, but I earn chrome points (cash). For every $2,500 you charge you earn a $25.00 chrome cash check that can be redeemed at any HD dealer. You can use this check for anything (parts/service/motorclothes) only stipulation is you don't get any change back (have to use it all up), and anything over the amount of chrome cash checks you use the balance has to be charged to your HD card.

Guess I'd better check my credit score.Figured I didn't owe any money & paid my credit card off every month so I should have a good score.Use my HD Visa card for anything over $10 & have used lotts of chrome $$ over the years. One thing pisses me off is the fact that the card companys can't be bothered to go after the dirtbag that steals your card #.Happened to my wifes card last summer while traveling cross country.Had to cancel the card.Good reason to have a backup card.Card co. said it wasn't worth it to prosecute.Guess if you know ther's no penelty why not keep trying to steal cards or #s ??

I plan of being a dead beat soon. (I put my timeshare on a credit card, hey it made sense at the time)

;D NOW THAT CHIT IS FUNNY I HAVE BOUGHT STUFF ON MY CREDIT CARDS LIKE THAT TOO - WOKE UP THE NEXT BILL AND WONDERED WTF WHY DID I DO THAT :-X

I HAVE SEVERAL CREDIT CARDS THEY ARE A NECCESITY IN MY BUSINESS - I COULDN'T GIVE GUYS CASH TO PURCHASE MATERIALS FOR JOBS AND I WOULD HAVE 20 CHARGE ACCOUNTS IF I HAD ONE AT EVERY STORE.  IT ALSO REALLY HELPS WITH YEAR END TAXES.  I DO KEEP SOME BALANCES ON CARDS FROM TIME TO TIME.  IT IS JUST A WAY THAT I DO BUSINESS AND IS CALCULATED INTO THE COST.  I HAVE 300,000 AIRLINE MILES SO THERE ARE SOME PERKS OF COURSE NOW WITH GAS AND THE COST OF USING FREQUENT FLYER MILES IT WILL PROBALLY BE CHEAPER TO BUY THE TICKET.

just saw this - with the thefts occurring all over the globe, they are probably correct...  CC number are bought and traded as currency for on-line thieves (not hackers).

I had my CC info stolen when I was deployed in 04, was buying stuff in Jakarta, Netherlands, Philippines and a number of other places all at once and Citibank didn't notice.  To run down the 5k worth of purchases would be prohibitive.
