Thanks SCRM-R, I'd appreciate it.

How much paint comes in the kit? Would it be enough for something like this?

two small bottles one for the frame one for the tins - and get clear coat also...  All told cost me $35.00

I doubt there is enough.

The kit is two small bottles of touchup paint...each bottle has a small brush in it like automotive (and other H-D) touchup paint bottles.  Each bottle is slightly different in color...supposedly one matches the sheet metal and the other matches the frame.  I'll get the part number shortly and post it...  Another alternative would be to go to an auto parts store that sells automotive touchup paint and get an aerosol can of something that is close in color...I don't think that you would be able to notice a little difference in color behind the air cleaner cover.

Or...you could paint it black to match the black accents, or burgundy to match the color in the filled engraved parts.  I had mine painted burgundy, but then I changed the paint color on all of the engraved parts to orange so the wire mesh is now orange, along with the air cleaner cover and horn cover.

SCRM-R,

What did you use to color the "Screaming Eagle 103" text on the heads?

SCRM-R,

What did you use to color the "Screaming Eagle 103" text on the heads?
Well, my heads don't have that text any more (I now have custom heads), but when they were stock, I used burgundy touchup paint and it worked well.  Some have used Sharpie pens with good results too.

The touchup paint kit for Centennial Gold is H-D part #94105.

A cheaper alternative is to get nail polish.  Many colors available.  The match doesn't have to be perfect because the pieces are not next to each other.
