Kury does make one for Electra Glide. I assume it will fit a King. If you already have a detachable setup try drilling 4 more holes in that. I did it on an Ultra it gave me another 1" to 1 1/2 " of passenger room.

Depending on how much you want to move the TP back, you can do two things.  You can drill the flat mounting plate like I did and you can get about 1.25" of rear positioning.  This helped but them someone here had a link to Kuryakyn and their soon to be released spring line up of parts.

I bought the new "U" shaped repositioning bar that gives you 2" to 3" of offset rearward.  This worked a lot better on my '08 SERK than just drilling the holes.  I can't remember how much it was though.  My wife is VERY happy with the added room to move around a bit.  I also changed out the rear Ironside foot pegs to the new adjustable SE running boards.  This lists out at over $600 and with the discount of 20% it made it a bit more interesting.  My wife really likes the ability to just move her feet around and the boards can even be tilted up in front a bit to match the forward running boards.

www.picturetrail.com/Dan_Lockwood  will get you to my Picture Trail albums and I have pictures of the new rear running boards.

Get with a dealer or online with Kuryakyn to get the new relocation "U" shaped bar.

My Girlfriend is currently not happy, and it wouldn't hurt my feelings if I didn't have burnt rubber to clean off the Rineharts.  So, which passenger running boards did you switch to?  Do they match the "ironside" theme?

This is what I did.

If you go to the HD parts and accessories catalog, either '08 or '09, you will find the Ultra Classic chrome adjustable rear board mounts.  With these you'll need to purchase the "Wing" board plates.  Then you need to buy the Ironside inserts that are a perfect fit for the wing board plates.  The list price on all this is just over $600.  If you can buy from this person that everyone here talks about, she may be able to save you 20% and probably where you live, stat taxes.

That's what I did and there are pictures of this on my Picture Trail account albums.  Click my signature link and you'll see them under my '08 Annie album.

Good luck.

That's exactly what happened.  I caught it just before you deleted it and that's why my quote is missing the dealership.

I'm going to stick the psychic thing though...  :P  :P  :P

Wow 20% off parts every day  :2vrolijk_21:  and I thought my dealer was treating me "special" with 15% off for 3 months, when I bought the bike.

d00d, is there a way I can save the info on this post on my computer, so I don't have to ask or search for it later??

Thanks for the Help!

Best thing to do would probably be highlight that post that I referred you to, copy it, paste it in Word or some program similar, and you can save it on your computer wherever (My Documents) you want.
