Hello all I'm Doug, Just ordered and put deposit on the o/b fltrse3. I have been reading all the comments here for the last couple of weeks and seems very informative. The delivery date is sometime in Dec. Gonna be a long wait!!! I live in Johnson city tn. I have been trying to get as many pics of the bike as i can. My girlfriend got a little pissy with me cause i have my fridge covered with pics of the bike. She said " You dont have any pics of me up there" I guess I said the wrong thing without thinking first. My reply was I plan on spending more time on the serg then I do on you!! Take my word for it.. Don't try this at home. I go back next week to have the sutures removed..lol. Just kidding. I can't seem to find a pic of the rear end of the bike with the lights on. I'm really interested in how they look when luminated. So if anyone has a pic of this please let me know. Also is the any gatherings of cvo owners in the southeast. I've been to several hog rallies but wasnt sure if cvo owners had any. This is my first one. December is gonna be a long time comning but I'll post pics as soon as she gets here. Thanks for the forum...

To answer your question, yeap absolutely. We meet at various places throughout the year. There's one next month right in your backyard in Maggie Valley, NC. I love Eastern TN. Hope you can make this. I'll be at maggie valley, Its just over the hill from the house. But I'll be on a 04 heritage instead of the serg. Is there a rally point for cvo's?

The information concerning where most of us will be lodging is in the first post of this thread - September 2008 ride to Maggie Valley. The rides will be leaving from there daily (no set time or destination), and then in the evenings you'll find members hanging around the hotel/motels "BS'ing".

Sounds good. I'm planning a road trip next summer to L.A. to see my daughter who lives right outside Hollywood. I'm retiring this year so next summer is wide open... Gonna do a lot of riding...
