The Chrysler dealer here has the orange one and the black one, both have been sitting there for about three weeks now, I thought for sure those things would sell quickly.

A friend of mine just picked his up. Orange with black graphics like HD Dude posted. It is a blast to drive! His was ordered. He said that they were by order only for 2009's. As in: limited production. Supposedly all were sold before they were built. SUPPOSEDLY. I have seen only one on the show room floor here in western PA and it is sold. Dealer asked to have it on the floor for a while. Next year they are supposed to be mass produced with two or three engine choices w/the SRT8 at the top.  (so the salesman said)

There around but not MSRP if they are.

http://www.rairdon.com/vehicle.aspx?s=new&year=2008&make=Dodge&modelChallenger%20SRT8%20LIMITED%20EDITION&inv=199&vin=2B3LJ74W78H290103&pos=1&current=1&size=10

Saw a black one yesterday and a O/B this evening on my way home.  Pointed the O/B out to my wife - she went nuts and decided that she has to have one.  We will be waiting a year or two, because I'm not going to pay over MSRP... I can wait until the hype cools down.

Yes .I work for chrysler and alot of people that had orders at msrp had them canceled for the over pricing bug. the first batch of those cars were 6400 or 6500 srt's dodges cvo versions. At work friday the handed out papers  to get us to give out one employee price to people we know, but they usually don't work on srt's.So if anyone needs a #number for employee discounts.I have one and a few co-workers that have some also. It looks great.  Working in the car industry, I find it ironic (and a little sad) that all of the really sweet new models have to be remakes of the great Detroit muscle cars from 30 years ago.  The Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger are the most recent examples.  Where's the innovative design and engineering for the new cars?!

My brother owns a dealership......I lust the Orange SRT but gotta be honest, I will wait for the hype to go away and will order the Richard Petty RT version.....I luv the 6 cylinder (economy, responsibility, and all that crap) but growing up driving 61 T-Birds and 68 289 Hypo Stangs, if you don't go big with this car, you gotta go home!
