HOT...HOT...HOT...then NOT (running)!

Took a ride up the coast of NH and ME yesterday...in York Beach, traffic was tough and then you have the idots stopping and waiting for a space to open up.  The bike was really getting hot...when I finally got the ability to get moving, the engine was not happy and decided to cut out on me after mayb a tenth of a mile at 20mph.

Pulled over to the side, let it rest a few minutes then it started right up.

Nothing like the feeling of twisting the throttle and feeling the bike losing power!

I really gotta stop riding in heavy traffic like this was.

Yup,

I am keeping it stock I say...at least through the trip out west next year....no more dealers are going to blame a power commander or not warrantee a sert tune...

Oh Yeah...I broke the news on Saturday after 4 Beers at Captain Parkers Pub in West Yarmouth...then to Maine on Sunday.

The Bike was so happy this morning...It was 50º outside when I left for work!


I actually could have used a face shield on the helmet one or two minutes...of course, when it is 50º in January I am out there riding in shorts!  It's all in the perspective.

You really need to work in MA where it seems every state worker has a take home vehicle.

Been in the news a lot lately given that they also get them fueled up at my expense...
