Champagne taste on a Ginger Ale budget right AJ?

I like my stock seat and seem to be the minority.  Since that's the case there must be a few hundred 06 and 07 Ostrich seats in the basements of CVOHarley members here that could be talked in to selling them if the insurance pay out is full replacement value.  If not, can the seat be recovered?  Isn't HD obligated to provide parts and service support 7 years after discontinuation of manufacturing?

Actually, I have no complaints on the stock seat at all.  I'll be yanking the tour pak this winter and will use a solo seat while it's off.

Still working with the insurance company about final payment.  My trunk was ripped as well.  Needless to say my Harley dealer did not put in on the estimate.  Now they have to send in a supplement to the original bid.    I was not completely in love with the stock seat but it was okay.  I am sure insurance company will not pay the difference for a Corbin seat.  Does anyone out there have a stock seat in good condition they want to sell for 07  CVO Ultra.

Being that the stock seat may no longer be in production, the Corbin may be about the same price of a new one. I'd make the insurance co. pay for the price of a new seat and pay any difference out of pocket. It can't be that much of a difference.

hello, have a corbin heated for sale, ( I traded in my 07 for an 08 ) unfortunatly the seat won't fit an 08. If you are interested let me know, I am not trying to make a killing on it, but it is truly " like new" and has rider backrest, and heat. If interested I will try to send pictures first, ( not too good with computer/ and attaching pictures )

Sgt072,

What else was damaged on your machine ?

I am still waiting on painted parts from the MOCO and my accident occurred on 8/4/08. I am looking for a second bike to ride for the remainder of the season since I have no idea when my bike will be back on the road...Maybe a used dyna for 7k.

MOCO replaced my stock seat on my 06 SEUC only a few months ago so I would think you could still get one.  My dealer simply ordered it and I had it within a week.  The heating part went out and they replaced the entire seat....no issues at all.  BUT I hate the damn thing so if I had to pay for a replacement I would definitely get something different.  Good luck

Hi

Just saw your post and have the seat you are looking for: FLHTCUSE heated seat with the ostrich pattern center in perfect condition. You can view or purchase it on eBay, Item number: 170265945039.  Just posted the item today.  I had it on my 06 Ultra but just got my 09 FLHTCUSE4 last week so I am selling off all the accessories from the Ultra.

cheers
