News on my SEUC
« on: August 23, 2008, 05:14:01 AM »

My Wife just told me there was a message on the answer machine that the 2009 Screaming Eagle Ultra Classic (Red) should be here in Nov 08. Still a long wait!! This is in the Panhandle of FL.  :orange: Is it best to Change from Syn 3 in the Trany??  :nixweiss: Can't see motor oil in the Transmission. Thanks.

if u look at other threads u will drop the syn3 from all applications, US guys seems to prefer amsoil.
had u chosen an earlier year the oil would have dropped out of its own accord.
I would run with the syn3 then change it out at the first service with the brand of ur choice

Thanks All. I will search on the Oil Threads, I new it should not be left in there long. On my other bikes (Not SE) I only use the regular oil. Thanks again and I will post photos when I get it!!

Ultrajeb,
I run Mobil 1 V-Twin in all three areas on my SEUC and have never had a problem.  I do get a little whine in 5th gear from the tranny, so may swap over to Redline Heavy Duty Shockproof on the next change...but don't know for sure.   :nixweiss:
