Vanamal just stopped by with his new yellow SEEG.  He's from So. Cal. but bought it way up north in Eureka, Cal. earlier this morning.  On his way back south, he stopped by to introduce himself and take a breather.

Beautiful motorcycle and a nice guy.  Thanks for stopping by Van, I look forward to riding with you in Aug. up to Yosemite.

I'll try to get by my office tomorrow to download the first photos taken of your new bike and get them posted here.

A couple other new members to this site and new to SEEGs, SAC and his road dog (whoose name escapes me at the moment) plan on coming to Sacramento on Sunday to stop by and visit.  It's a pleasure meeting all these guys and I look forward to riding with you guys in the future.

That was last Friday that Van stopped by.  Then on Sunday I had a couple more new members to this site (and new to CVO ownership) stop by.

The Teal bike is SAC's and the yellow is Ironworker's....

JC....you're going to have to get off the painkillers  man.  Found SAC and Ironworker in the last post, but had a real hard time finding the "couple" of buddies.  By the way, really glad you're getting some company during this  down time. [smiley=laugh.gif]

Yea, pain killers are good......but what do ya mean?  I see them.......well, actually, there bikes.

I'm liking the company, for sure.  SAC, Ironworker and their two buddies and I set out at my pool and cut up and told lies for a couple hours.  First time I got to laugh like that in a long time.  Everybody was on a roll.......felt like I knew them all my life.

But the hardest part is when these guys get on their bikes and leave.  I just want to go with them.  It's really hard now because I don't have any more pain (to speak of) and I feel like I could just throw a leg over the seat and ride.  It's just so tempting...........  But the DR. says ninety days........so I'll give it 60 and then I'm out of here!

JC,

I do not mean to come off as your mother or your physician, however as someone within the healthcare field, I can assure you there is a method to the madness relating to timimg of healing.  Take the additional time to assist in the assurance of a proper result and you will not regret it my friend.

Bottom Line - Time has the possibility of healing all wounds...Give it the time it deserves.

All the Best,

Jock

This thread seems to have been dead for awhile and seems most of the pictures have disappeared (not sure if this is because of the hacker or what), but instead of starting a new thread to post pictures of “CVO Visitor’s” I thought I'd revive this one. This seems to be as good a place as any to share pictures of members meeting members.

Today I had the opportunity to meet one of the members here and share some time in the wind with them. S/EDave and his wife rode down thru Skyline Drive on yesterday and made it into my city for a visit. Got a call from him last night that he was heading to Charlottesville to spend the night unfortunately I was working an unable to meet them last night. So we decided to get together this morning for a meet and greet. After speaking with Dave and finding out which way they were headed I suggested instead of going the four lane highway route I could show them a nice two-lane road (Rt. 20) that would take them by a Harley dealer (Waugh Enterprises Harley-Davidson ) if they were interested in t-shirts or other dealer paraphernalia. After a brief visit to dealership I continued riding with them for another 23 miles (Intersection of Rt. 20 & Rt. 3) towards Fredericksburg Va. before turning around and heading home.

Dave it was a pleasure meeting you and your wife and spending time in the wind w/you. Looking forward to doing it again.

The invitation is always open for members here if you're in my area let me know I'll try to meet w/you and show you some nice two-lane country roads that I get to ride on all the time

Here is a picture of S/EDave and I, and our SEEG’s.
