Mine is in the dealership today, stopped by to check it out.  Barely out of the wrapping.  Now dealer tells me it could take a week to get paperwork.  Don't quite understand that but I will push that button tomorrow.
Now can't wait to hear it sing..

Terry, it sounds like they are full of $h!t.  I've never heard of such a thing.  He may want to keep it on the floor just to show it off.  I would call him out on it and tell him he full of it.

You know Mike I thought the same thing, actually called Harley a couple of weeks ago and a customer service lady told me that the paperwork comes with the bike.  I thought the floor thing but my salesman told me today that it would stay downstairs until I'm ready to pick it up other wise he said everybody would be wanting to sit on and since it's already bought that wouldn't be right.  I'm going to call cs again tomorrow and since I have the VIN maybe they can help me.. I the irony was I was only about 2 hours from Milwaukee on work and told them I would be happy to pick up the paperwork.  I asked if they ever heard of FED EX OVERNIGHT. told them I would even pay.  But at least It's there.   Would be great to have it for the 3 day weekend. 
Good luck on yours tomorrow. 

How long does the rest of you have to wait when your bike actually show up to get to pick it up.

Mine should be here Thursday..... perfect timing as I am riding up to North Carolina (Chimney Rock, Lake Lure area) Thursday afternoon on my Smurf. Spoke with my sales guy today and the numbers should be able to be worked out. So providing I like the color of the Autumn Haze/Orange Ultra, this might be the last Hoo-Rah on the old Smurf... :-\

congrats on your new purchase Rob.  I'm guessing your glide  sold fast as it didn't last long on  ebay.  Knew it wouldn't that was a great looking bike.

ok, here's what I do...the Service Manager gal already got chocolates(more to come), the sales manager is getting a Cohiba Esplendido and a bottle of Jack :drink:(and he knows it), the Finance lady got flowers from me after a previous purchase and will again...I should be gettin' the bike as soon as they prep it while I'm doin' the paperwork...now, is all that effort worth ridin' off on the new scoot 2 hours after touchdown on a 3-day weekend? :bananarock: - to me it is!...that's all providing it's here by Friday of course...it's all in the strokin'  :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:...remember, to us it's Christmas, to them it's 9-to-5...incentive and reward is everything :)

Talked to a saleman at Latus Motors in Portland OR and he said they have a 09 CVO Road Glide coming in that is not spoken for yet.

Lot tech said he'd call me as soon as he saw the box on the truck!

Techs told me I could come and rip the reflectors off during PDI if I was inclined to do so.

I already bought a license plate frame with an LED light to dump the Jimmy Durante Nose of a license plate lite...
