I guess this would be an FLTRHTCSEI2 ?

Saw these pictures this evening and had to share.  Someone took some jalapeno sheet metal and put it on an 03 Road Glide then painted the Road Glide fairing to go with the teal paint set.  I actually like it a lot  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Two Lane, thanks for posting those.  I have been thinking about what to do if the next CVO is not a RG.  Obviously I would want to keep my current RG but was thinking about dropping some more upgrade $ into it in terms of paint.  Funny this guy and I have a like mind except I was going to go with the yellow bird paint scheme rather than the teal.  Cheers and have a safe and happy 4th!

I had kind of the same thought, wondering how I might choose to pull off the same idea.  What I thought about though was a combination of a couple of different models.

Have now had stuck in my head what it would look like if you combined the fairing of the red SE Road Glide with the rest of the paint work of a red Road King that was out a few years ago.  It was a limited production red with red ghost flames laid in the paint.  See them only very rarely but I still think it's the most stunning paint set I've ever seen from Harley.  So some mix of those two where the fairing keeps the Eagle but is tweaked a bit to go with the rest of the red Road King paint set.  I'm thinking that would be a very cool looking machine.

To me the best looking bike going down the road is the 2 tone blue or orange and black RG from a few years back.  Those bikes just look a mile long with the way the eagle stretches from the front fairing and then flows out the back down the saddle bags.  You notice that the bags on those bikes had a 3 tone paint scheme and I think that adds to what makes it look so long.  On the example you posted it looks really nice but there is alot of detail that you only see up close not when the bike is running down the road.  I think maybe a paint scheme along the lines of the prior CVO RG's but with different colors and incorporating the flame detail from the Electra Glide CVO bikes that is such a great looking detail.   Maybe will have to try something like that if the announcement in a few weeks is a no go on a new CVO RG. This teal example would be better (at least to me) if he'd done something like the eagle from the SERG in this fairing as well.  I agree, really like the way that visually extends the length of it.

On the SEEGs one thing I really don't care for is the center of the front fender (actually the whole front fender has issues, but that's a different discussion).  That center just looks out of balance vertically.  So maybe losing the inner set of flame stripes and incorporating the RG eagle on the fairings and down the center fo the front fender?  That'd look cool.
