Is this possible? I like the look of the a/c on the 09 RG, but will HD sell me one if I don't own an 09 RG? By the looks of it, it should suffice as a high flow and should bolt up since the engine shouldn't have changed any save a new version of the head gaskets.

Should bolt up fine, my friend has a 09' CVO RG and with that filter it makes a lot of intake noise. He really doesn't like it. He might change to a football style. You could probably buy everything but the 110 emblem on the outside without a problem. I also think the 110 emblem on your bike will fit on the 09 RG filter housing.

It is a really cool-looking setup. You'll have to check to see if it's a protected part. My guess is it is, since that's the only model they're offering it on. If so, it might be tough to score one. Then again, you could send RBFB a PM and see if his friend would be willing to sell you his!

I had asked my dealer about the serg air cleaner and the only thing that was vin specific was the insert(according to th parts manager)
