CVOHarley Members,
If you have any rides that are happening in the Commonwealth of Virginia that you may be attending or that you know of please let me know so that I can add them to my "website"/Fireman's Homepage "Events Calendar". I have recently updated it with events that I know of, and as weather gets better perhaps we can meet at some of these events. I would really like to meet more members of this website that live in the "Commonwealth of Virginia". :)

BTW - I post out of state events also, so if you have something you would like added let me know.

Hey Fired00d, sorry we did not get out to Waughs on Saturday.  In fact we really just took it very easy.  Slept in, all the way till 05:00, then went out for a leisurely breakfast.  We built a website for my husband and kinda just hung out.  But Sunday, we rode.  Met the Richmond HOG chapter for breakfast and then rode around in the sun, about 200 miles.  Richmond, Williamsburg, James Town, South Hill, Home.  Great time.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I was thankful for my heated grips, but actually, I had on my leather coat, no liner, no longjohns, no chaps, and really enjoyed myself.  Sorry we missed you, but we will get together at some point. We live too close to one another not to.  ;)

MrsWe,
No problem on missing me at Waughs on Saturday. I didn't hang around there that long, was kinda cool when I rode down there, and didn't have anybody riding with me. So I just went down there got the parts that I wanted and headed back home and chilled out.

Speaking of events coming up, are you aware of this....

Diva's Only Bike Show - Cheasapeake Va.

This sounds like a fine place for you to show off your ride. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

How on earth do you stay on top of all these events?  I had no idea.  I have heard about the club over the last year, they are always recruiting, but it might be of interest.  Although I seldom get or keep my bike clean enough to enter into a bike show. I ride way too much.  But I gotta say that she is looking pretty hot right at the moment. Wish we had a camera, but with the tourpak off, the nostalgic saddlebag guard and the chrome filler strips added on and a lot of that extraneous mess off the rear behind the tan solo seat, it is an impressive look for sure. I might keep this under advisement.  Thanks so much.

MrsWe,
I have subscriptions to about a half dozen monthly biker magazines, also pick up every free biker magazine I can get my hands on when I get to dealer. Back when I was Activities Director for HOG chapter it was my duty to keep abreast of all the activities that were going on around Virginia, and I guess I haven't lost my touch. Besides that I'm always looking for a place to get a group of riders together to attend. ;D Anyways I'm glad I could bring it to your attention (and Jamey's) now that you both know about it, you (he ;)) will have to get your bike ready for this event.

P.S. Jamey if you have to work late nights to get MrsWe's bike ready for this event, and I attend I'll probably owe you some cold refreshments. [smiley=drink.gif]

Hehehehe, you haven't seen my fridge. ;) Besides the more beers I owe, the more I'll have to have on hand, and the more I get to drink (I would never want to have any of my friends drink alone ;)). [smiley=drink.gif] There is a method to my madness. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Didn't get to the Diva show, but saw the pictues posted by VAEagle.  Looked like a great time. Did get to get out for a short little 300 mile jaunt yesterday.  Wow, the pallette Central Virginia is displaying right now is unbelievable.  Hard to beleive there are so many flowering trees and shrubs.  I thought that the fall foliage was breathtaking, but spring has nothing to be ashamed of, for sure.  The fragrant white flowers on the pears, and the clusters of small yellow flowers on some cherries to the brilliant pink on others, the small purplish flowers in clusters on the redbud and the bright white on the whitebud trees, an of course the native dogwood proudly splashing it's white and pink feathers along with the flowers of the apples and the plums and the peeks at the clutch of the wisteria.  It is definately the season for singulair, but what a grand show.  Hope the rest of you in this area are having as much fun as we are taking in the sights.

We rode on some of the most scenic roads in and around Lynchburg, VA.  The sites and the smells were fantastic.  Hope to hook up with some of you on these roads some day.   :D

Thanks for the pictures of Spring! I can almost smell them from the Rockies.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
