Thumper's Invade the Hogbreath's
« on: September 02, 2008, 04:53:34 PM »

For the second time in as many weeks, Renea and I rode up to Clinton and spent the weekend with Ken and Cheri.  It's always a joy to visit with them and have them visit with us.  Thought I'd post a few pictures of our visit, but I just gotta say one thing first............that Walker Boy sure can cook...........and ride a motorcycle.  I went to school this weekend, both for grillin' and ridin'!

Fantastic time.  Even got to meet Jorge and Martha during their return trek from Milwaukee.

Here's a picture of Ken and me in front of the HD mural on the flood wall in Paducah.

So......here we are out in the boonies between a cornfield and pond...........with nothing more than fumes for fuel.  Think we made it home?

Ken took me to River Run University on Sunday.  Got to cross the Ohio River via ferry.  Also got to cross it via a grated bridge........a first for me.

Four River's H-D........actually just a clothing store branch of the Paducah store.........in Grand Rivers, KY.

That's all or now.  We got back shortly before 1pm.  Grabbed a quick nap.  Posted these pictures.  Now I gotta go sit in a classroom for five hours.

Thanks for having us, Ken & Cheri!  Always good to see you.

And Jorge & Martha, it was great to finally meet you.  I'm sorry we'll miss you at MV, but there'll be other times and places.

Looks like fun Henry. I'm looking forward to the day when I can get over that way and check out the Kentucky cookin' and meeting Ken and Cheri. Glad you had a good time. The rain has finally made it to SW Missouri a few minutes ago, so my plan for my day off tomorrow is Dr. appointment-am and clean bike-pm.
