Thanks for that.  Very well written.  I've learned a huge lesson in this realm lately.  Reminds me of two old adages from times past "Better to remain silent and be thought of as a fool than to speak/write and remove all doubt."

And then there's my personal favorite:  "Don't let your alligator mouth override your hummingbird ass."I've violated both..........and I regret it.

Since taking the new position at FD I've had to go to many schools and at one I'm attending this week one of the topics was communication. Found the statement below to be very true and thought this was a good place to share it....

"The higher your emotional quotient, the lower your communication quotient."

Definitely gives you something to think about.

The old saying is: Freedom of speech is a double edge sword.  Don't dish it if you can't take it.

When I was young(er), someone told me: Always fight for who you are and never for who you're not.  I've had situations that people made assumption regarding my view which was totally wrong, but it didn't bother me a bit.  One thing I like about this site is that every thread is almost guaranteed to get hijacked and derailed at one point or another.  And we always find a way to get some humor mixed in.
