Hello all,

I am a new member here and also new to being a  CVO Harley owner. I am not new to owning a Harley though. I have had a 93 and 2004 Fatboy and also a 06 RoadGlide. I just bought a new 09 CVO RoadGlide with the orange paint scheme. So far I am really happy with the bike and cant wait to put some miles on it. I bought it from Harley of WV in Charleston. I look forward to being a part of this forum.

Hey thanks for all the compliments. That little short thing on the bike was a big help to me getting that bike. Like I said earlier I live in MD and my dad lives in WV. Well I asked my dad to look in the dealer down there for one and sure enough they did. I called the dealer last Friday and put deposit on bike and was leaving at 2AM Sat morning and my 8 yr old daughter insisted on going. I tried to explain that is a 450 mile ride down and then the same back and we would pretty much be in the truck all day and night. She still wanted to go so we headed out and she slept the whole way to my dads. We then went and picked up bike and did paperwork and dropped off dad and hung out for about an hour then hit the road. I was dead beat and that little girl stayed awake the whole way home with me and helped to keep me going. When we got home the next morning my oldest daughter said she was getting the first ride and I had to correct her and told here that my copilot was going to get the first ride after riding in that truck all day and night keeping me going. What a trooper!!!!

Alright, another new CVO owner in MD!  Congrats on the new scoot, she's a beauty!  Maybe I'll see you next saturday in OC, 450 miles sounds like it might put you over on the shore somewhere.
