one more for the night.  Went for a short ride then pulled it in the garage and pulled off all the reflectors.  Just scoured the rear one with a util knofe and then broke it off.  On the others I heated them up with a hot gun and then used fishing wire attached to 2 bolts and sheared them off.  Finished it off with goof off on a rag and wax.

A ride report for the short trip.  It handles much better than my 06 RG.  Feels light and responsive.  Like others have reported, the throttle is sensitive.  The ride is a little stiffer than my other one but I did not check shock pressure.  The seat is pretty damn firm probably because its a low profile.  I am 5'6" and I sit on it flat footed with no room to spare.  The handlebars feel normal to me but then again I'm used to my other RG's standard bars which I tilted forward just a bit so for me my arms are slightly bent.  Just a couple miles and I'm over 50.  Tomorrow I'll be out there so I'll report more.  Need to take the jeep back to the dealer..all my parts are here except the tour pack and lock.

Here's a pic with the new docking hardware for the rack or tourpack.  Very easy to install!

Just thinking out loud here... Wonder how a frenched in license plate w/self illumination (so you wouldn't have to have that light sticking out) would look on the rear fender? I think that would really clean up the fender of that bike. The more and more I look, the more and more I'm liking the rear on the SERG (not that I ever disliked it). :2vrolijk_21:

So I've got over 250 miles on her and thought I'd update on a couple things.  First off, someone previousle in another thread complained about intake noise and starving for air.  NOPE, it's a hi flow intake and it sounds just like all my other vehicles when you romp on it and it starts sucking air.  The seat is still hard and the wife complained...   The suspension is quite different from previous models and you need to run more air.  Typically on my other RG I run 14 psi with the wife and tour pack.  On this one just with the wife it feels like its bottoming out.  I pumped it up to 20 today and it felt much better than yesterday.  I'll put the wife on it later and see how that does.  This bike is more like a ferrari.  Suspension is very tight but it likes to go fast in the corners.
Now for the KW 12" windshield.  At 70 I can start to feel the helmet buffet.  I'm only 5'6" so some of you taller folks beware.  There is some wind noise.. more than with my Clearview on the other RG but no where near what it was on the Dyna.  Have not made up my mind about the KW.  Still open for other suggestions.
One last thing, and I will post it separately also is when I was installing the docking kit for the tour pack, I was also going to install the antenna relocation kit.  Well, its not going to work in its present state.  The supplied bracket will work on everything but the SERG.  The L tail light is in the way.  So I sat there and contemplated for a few minutes.
