Hey guys,

I went to Zippers Performance today and talked to them about the exhaust. They said the D&D exhaust would work. They did say that the muffler on the right side would be close to the axle nut but shouldnt be a problem. I got them and installed them and so far I like them. They are 4" and fit the rear of the bike pretty good. They have a nice deep rumble but certainly not overly loud at all especially compared to the Rineharts I had on my 06 RoadGlide. I think once they come out with new head pipes you could get more noise if you wanted it.

Thanks for all the replies. The bike has a nice deep rumble but not over loud at all. If I can figure out how to make a sound clip or someone can tell me how I will try atleast.

Also make sure that you put your bike up on a jack  and check everything good. I found that the right side saddlebag support was not even bolted on the bottom side under the fender and the same bolt on the left side was ready to fall out.

Sounds like another GREAT DEALER SETUP!!!!!!!

BTW the D&D looks great on that bike. It looks like the guys at Zippers hooked you up pretty good.

Like that look.  Did you have to do anything else to the bike when you had them put the slip on's.  Not to be to nosey but what kinda of price did you pay for the DD mufflers..

It was a pretty easy install. I didnt have to do anything special at al. The cost was about 500 dollars.
