5022 Mile Trip On My 07 SEUC
« on: September 06, 2008, 08:05:32 PM »

Just returned from the 105th celebration. Rode my 07 SEUC 5,022 miles round trip from California. I wanted to let everyone know that my 110 was perfect. No problems. I rode without the lowers to help her run cool. The motor was strong pulling the mountain ranges without a complaint. My wife was with me and we were fully packed. I also loved the Mich. Comanders. They do not track as bad on grooved freeways. The factory GPS worked perfect, guiding me from stop to stop. My seat is a Corbin heated dual tour, it was comfortable. My engine never got hot, even when I rode in Harley's parade. I now love this bike, she has the power to pass big rigs on the interstate, provided better fuel economy than my friends 88" twin cam that rode with me, with power to spare. My bike now has close to 14,000 miles.

Hey Scottt,

We must have passed each other somewhere along the way.  We left eastern PA on August 22nd, rode to San Fran, went up the coast and came back the northern states and got home on Sept. 10th.

Helluva ride, over 6,800 miles in all.

What a beautiful country we have.  No better way to see it than on a CVO.. :2vrolijk_21:

Scottt,

Come to think of it, I only saw one CVO Smurf  my whole trip and it was at Maverick HD in Cheyenne, Wyoming on the 25th or 26th of August.

Was that you?

Ace

That was not me. I headed toward Denver after Laramie, we never made it to Cheyenne. While at the 105th I only saw two other blue 07 SEUC's, I think I had the only one in Saturdays 105th parade. A lot of black and orange and a few red's. I saw more 08's than anything.

It was a wonderful trip on a great bike.

I know everyone complains about the gps system. It worked great for me. I put in all my stops, it did a great job guiding me. My wife and I called the female voice in the system the Nav. Bi.......  With the satellite radio, we never needed to play a CD.
