tdowell;
Did Steve at Fulsac say anything about a download?   On my 06 I went with Fulsac's and a standard Screamin Eagle pipe download from the MOCO and it worked well.  This was pre- 02 sensor.   I might have to pull my right pipe to check the cat situation.  With Steve's comments about both pipes appearing to have equal output, it makes sense that there is a centralized cat.

I asked him if I was going to be ok just slipping these on and he said no problem at all.  The 02 sensors will adjust for the airflow,  I'm close to 500 miles now and will be putting on a sert soon.  I'm not by anymeans that mechanically inclined, I just want my bike to sound good and run fast.

Thanks for that info.  Not sure what a sert will give you.  By the sound of it, Steve says run the cores as is.  This bike has a hi flow filter (and a download) already and that is one of the primary purposes of the sert.  I have not found the limiter which is another sert item.  I've got almost 800 mile since Saturday afternoon and last night I shifted to 5th gear at 80 mph.  Today when I hit 100 (shhh!) I popped it into 6th.  This bike is quick especially above 3000 rpm!

Ok guys, I met Brian Klocks today, really nice guy and into Road Glides for sure!  Laura was there too and I met her as well.  Very Friendly people, he gave me his business card with office and cell numbers.  Anyways this is what we talked about.

The exhaust gap in the rear bags and facia.  He agrees with us about the  4" stock pipe looking good, but he is developing a 4" slash cut pipe that is supposed to look better and perform really well.  He says that it has similar sound quality as a rinehart or v&h, meaning from a stop or downshift, it has a great deep sound.  When cruising at 50 or 75, it's a smooth rumble that doesn't interfer with radio sounds and you may even hear your belt.  He said that he is going to ship a pair of them to Granite Mountain HD for me and let me demo them for him.

We talked about windshield.  He agreed that the 8" would better accomodate a shorter person and inform me that if the 12" doesn't work, he as a 16" Touring model that will hit the market soon.

I wanted to talk more with him, but he had been busy all day with other consumers and had just sat down for a bbq sandwich.  Don't get me wrong, he was enthusiastic to talk to me about the bike, suspension, frame, etc.  Super nice guy, I even told him to look up us on cvoharley.com.

I am prolly going D&D slip on muffys, a super sert canned map for break in then D&D 2-1 fat cat quiet and dyno tune after break in...This is on the CUSE4...

Miker

Looks like I'm going the D&D slipon route myself.
The SuperSert is sitting at the dealership waiting.
I like the rineharts but get a much better deal on the D&D's.

COOOOOOL on that windshield.  I was hoping that would do that.  Also good to hear about the slash pipes, they do look good on the bike.

Grape mind think alike...
The D&D 21- will fit, no??

I will watch metal temp like a hawk and if it exceeds 340-360 on the head I'll jump into the canned map and adjust ve's to get my nice stinky exhaust back like HDs have always had.

I sat on Jorges 06cuse today and dang, Schmoops dyna is little...

I'll be taking the SuperTrapps from my '07 and transferring them... love the sound (deep rumble and NOT LOUD!), and they're tunable (just need to add a few more discs to go from a 96 incher to 110)

Chip,
Check out the vendor info. I ordered from them and they didn't have it, had to order it, took longer than was promised, cust service not the best in the world but you'll get what you ordered. If I were to do it again I'd pay a little more with no drama. If you can't get it from Jenni,  Mark at M&M Cycles would be my next choice, great customer service & prices....Greg
