I hate long goodbyes

I'm not sure where to put this. I got in here so I will get out here. Or where ever D00D puts me. Well: I'm at the 2 year mark and was ready to trade. It became obvious again how much the CVO experience costs. My $35K bike is now worth from $21.5 to $24K at HD/Buell dealers. I really want a 1125R. My dealer is not a Buell dealer so I went there last. He offered me $27K (with a damaged fairing) over the phone. I went out there this afternoon and traded for a new 08 ultra. Black pearl. Then he knocked off another grand on the 08. They do free installation on accessories on a new bike so I added the necessary stuff including XM, back rest, short antennas, luggage rack, and a few other things. I will still get a check for $5K and no sales tax. It was going to cost $8K to trade up to a SEUC. Now I'll take the Bandit to the Buell Dealer and with the 5K will have a new Ultra and a new 1125R for around 2K out of pocket. It isn't the money, it's the value.
Soooo. I have been educated, informed and entertained here for some time. I will miss posting with you guys, but, fair is fair. No CVO = Guest. If you want to leave me on the emergency trailer list I would be honered to help if I can.  Best of luck to everyone.

No need to leave just because you've gotten rid of your CVO.  There are many members that don't own CVO's on this site.  It's open to anyone.

OK--OK I get it. I guess I would feel the same now that I think about it. Maybe it will be good to have another non-CVO around for comparison. I'll have it next week and put up a pic. Thanks again Guys.

Oh did I mention. I don't know how to delete myself anyway.   :confused5:
