Just talking to my wife about this last night. I still remember exactly where I was & what I was doing when this tragedy unfolded. I'll bet almost everyone here does as well. THE MUFFMAN

That sent the whole world into shock, we awoke to it on the news and just couldn't believe what was happening.

We will never forget, but will people who place such little value on life ever change their ways ?

To all the folks who lost family, friends, colleagues and loved ones we are thinking of you today.

Great thread, and very appropriate for today!  I'll never forget actually seeing the second plane hit the towers live...the horror of people falling and jumping. My heart goes out to anyone affected by this terrible act of cowardice perpetrated by ignorance. MY God doesn't want someone to die just because they don't believe in Him.

I echo GH's sentiments, and I applaud Howie for gathering these sad but true numbers. It's not about one persons loss...it is the collective loss that we all must remember.

My condolences to all who lost family and friends in this historic tradgedy. I will never forget nor will I forgive those responsible. It is why every so often you see me post about turning the Middle East into a glass parking lot. My anger spills over into emotions which I know sound unreasonable, but that is the nature of men is it not. Thanks Howie for reminding us of the cost to all of us and may God Bless the souls of those brave men and women who gave all in sacrifice to their fellow man
