My left saddle Bag latch spring broke over the weekend. I went down too the local HD dealer and bought 2 new springs for each latch. It took about 30 mins too replace each one. Theres a section in the service manual on how too replace them (3 pages)..They must break alot for them too have that many pages on how too replace the spring. $1.50 part..The parts guy did try too sell me a new latch ($89.99).

I am on my second set for the side I use the most. Not a very good design!
