 FYI, I have received numerous PM's recently from other member's supporting the enhancement I suggested. Note the "YES" vote's in the poll as an example.....not everyone shares the same opinion.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Flat Black is a 2006 Color!!! - I was at my local HD dealer today and saw a color chart for the 2006 Models (No CVO color combos listed, of course)...the most interesting color is a flat black (as in no gloss)!  The salesman showed me a chart that listed what colors were available for each model but this mystery black had no model assigned to it.  I know it had been rumored that a chopper might be on its way or some other fat rear tire Softail...what kind of bike would you paint that color other than something BADAZZ? Guess we'll know in a week, huh? I was so intrigued by the black that I didn't pay much attention to the other colors, but there are some new ones - I think a new cobalt blue; brilliant silver; a new green;  a new red (lava red is discontinued).   PJ

  Ran into a guy in Paonia, Colorado this week who claims he knows for sure that one of the new CVO models will be a road glide. Said that it would be available in a deep maroon, turquoise and red. He said that 4 CVO models would be available for '06.
 Either this guys full of it, or he has one hell of an inside source.
 I guess we will find out pretty soon.

 It is north of Ouray on 550. There is a huge BMW bike rally there this weekend. They were starting to filter in last week. I guess they have had a rally there for several years.
 Beautiful ride from Durango to Ouray on 550, by the way.

Actually the models were listed to the corresponding colors...I'll check out the dealer tomorrow and get a definitive answer...by the way the name of the mystery color is "Denim black"  -  PJ

The new bikes name has 5 letter's " _ _ _ _ _ ".  [smiley=confused5.gif]

The color is the new "Denim Black". Only bike offered in this color for 2006 and will run for the entire introduction year.   [smiley=smoking.gif]
