Can-Am Spyder
« on: September 11, 2008, 09:29:18 AM »

There's been some discussion on the Can-Am Spyder on several threads. As I have said before, my neighbor Cappy has one and enjoys it a great deal. Recently Corbin came out with a line of products for the Spyder including saddlebags, a small trunk and a fairing. You can view them on Corbin's website. I must say these products make the Spyder a potential long distance machine.

Brian, same story here. have a friend that picked one up and loves it. Havin' a tough time getting used to it visually though. He's ran the bajesus out of this thing all summer with zero complaints. And that thing is fast. I wouldn't care for the riding position for the long haul however.

Absolutely, It's made by the Bombadier Recreational Products division of Can-Am.

They had a bad year a few years back selling SkiDoos and converted them to this rig

I rode one a few months back. you sit more sport bike like , leaning forward a lot . In my humble opinion they would be hard to do long distance on. As I remember they turned very high RPM's . The dealer said there were going to be a number of changes for the 2009 model to make more user friendly.

I do like the two wheels in the front one in the back configuration. It's a lot more stable in my opinion.

There is a Scooter version of the Can Am out there. I saw one a couple months ago and it was very interesting.. Basically a mini Can Am but i don't know who made it.
