HEADPAN62 have you though about a Race Fueler PN 32132-04. I have a 01 MM bike, I did it about two weeks ago and really like the results. Makes the MM kinda like a carb and a hell of alot less moola. Easy to install and tune.

well so far i got a carb and intake off a 2003 eletria glide for 65 bucks on ebay, ignition for 40 bucks on ebey,,wiring harness from harley for 80 bucks and the petcock conversion for 35 bucks.... so this conversion will cost under 250.oo...not bad as far as cash.....I put 20,000 miles on her and i think carb is the way to go for me..I can argue till I turn blue with why I'm not a fan of EFI,but I'm sure some will disagree..I  was thinking of doing the delphi conversion...but too expensive and carb was alot more easy to do and more tuneable as far as jetting and so forth

Cool, Good luck. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I have EFI and Carb bikes. They both have their pros and cons. Let us know how you do with the convertion.  What are your plans for the parts you took off? ::)

Well ,i will try to post some pics....it was real easy and I did not cut 1 wire...all plug in...hardest thing was getting the EFI harness out of the bike...got the carb harness in and installed today...just waiting for the ignition to arrive and petcock kit from pingel......should be firing her up on fri nite....more to come.......thanks all for ur input..so far this was easy....just make sure if u do this that ur carb has a nipple to install ur cruse control cable on it....

well all done, needed to up the slow speed jet to a 50...great acceleration and smooth idle...BIG DIFFERENCE.....the petcock kit from pingle is kinda made to accept only their petcock...The stock harley filter on top of the stock petcock would not fit into nipple...so i installed an inline filter and did away with the petcock filter........another small issue is the engine light would not go off...my pal at the dealership was going to plug it in to see what fault code it is and see if we could get the light to go out..I just used the manual ,,,found the wire and disconected it at a plug...... so thats it ..210 bucks was the total cost (some choice items thanks to ebay) and converted very easyly.....fuel gage works along with the cruse control...no problkems there either...i also changed the primary gearing so i have my highway rpm,s back wich these bikes lak.......she's like a new girl............ride-on,headpan62

yeah, the fuel pump lost its power supply when i took out the EFI harness...so in order to keep the float ass. for the fuel guage i just reinstalled the pump in the tank with power to fuel guage only...put 50 miles on her tonite.....just what the doctor ordered...

Just thought what a great idea, that fuel pump thats not being used would be great for injected nitrous.
