There was some discussion about it in this thread - 2009 trike confirmed.

Anybody want to venture when (IF?) the H-D Trike will get on the fly-rent program?  I have so many airline miles to use I will be a frequent flyer/rider!

I'd hoped for a bit more discussion on this thread. Has anyone seen one ?  Did H-D have them at their Sturgis show ?  When are they expected to reach dealer's showrooms. etc etc etc

saw one in Rapid City, our local dealer has been allotted 2 and both are pre-sold already.  1st to arrive in Nov. 2nd in Feb.

sorry, only pic I got of it.

Factory rep told me everything is Harley made components, with the exception of the rear molded fender and trunk piece. thats from Leahmen

Hoist had a whole thread on the trike situation I guess it has been removed . Check with him , there was some good info on that thread. If you would like to talk trikes in general we  have had 2 and my wife is selling hers and getting a new one shortly.

Mi amigo Brian.....I saw them in several dealers on my way to Milwaukee and all of them were sold. I was told that every dealer only will receive a couple for 2009..........

I had a post on this and it did not show up? So the following is a recap of it.

Sue and I rode one in Sturgis for about 25 miles.

I don't want to get into a mine is better that yours deal.

Any one who is thinking of a trike, go demo the Harley and all of the converstion kits you can.

Than make up your own mind.

I have seen a couple of them (There is one on the show room floor at Walters Bros. in Peoria, IL but it is already sold.) They had them on display in Milwaukee at the 105th. I understand they had to keep the price affordable, but I'm really disapointed that they have a solid rear end vs independent suspension. If anyone has rode a TRI GLIDE how does it compare to say a DFT or some of the other trike manufacturers?
