    I am putting out a request to anyone with a 2000 FLTRSEI (Screamin Eagle Road Glide) in Black/White/Orange for some printed glossy color photos of just the gas tank taken fairly close-up from several angles. Special attention to the detail in the lettering

I would be glad to reimburse any cost involved in having the pics printed in 8 x 10

Ok B, took some photos about an hour ago.  When you see them you'll have to forgive the rain drops.

Lots of angles up/down/front/back.  Tried to show what's raised and what's not.  Will know better once they're developed but hopefully will give you a good idea of "texture" of the letters.

Also laid a tailor's tape along both sets of letters and vertically over the strips in a couple of places to the painter will have an idea on size and spacing.  If you think you need something else after you see them let me know.

Well nuts.  Brian, just got a phone call from the one hour photo developer's booth at Wal-Mart.  Their machine ate the roll of film.

Light in the garage is probably too poor to do a satisfactory job.  Very likely to be raining like hell the next couple of days.  So might be Monday now before get more pics for you.

Just got back from Uptown Cycle with Bubba_T. I might be better off having Tony do the whole paint job and use the 07 Mirage Orange Pearl vice the Electric Orange from the 00. For the money Jenni wants for the side panels and saddlebags I can get mine re-shot in a way that would for sure be a SERG look, but would not be either an 00 or an 09. The gas tanks though is a must see, so please try again

Will do.  More pics as soon as there is good light to do it with. 

If the painted parts order can still be cancelled making an 07 homage to the classic SERG is a neat idea.  Even if not, however, if you can get bare tins painted cheaper than painted tins can be purchased it's worth considering.
