Sorry to hear that Tom.  Bike doesn't look too bad at all.  I always consider a misshape "an expensive and painful experience".   :-X

Good Lock and get well soon.   :2vrolijk_21:

PS - does road rash always hurt this much?

Yes it does.  Take all the pills they give ya on schedule.  It gets better - took a couple of years for some of my skin to grow back.  Scars hardly even there now, but I remember the green soap in the ER like it was yesterday.

Bike does not look too badly hurt from the pics so far.  Bet it costs $$$$ to fix though.  Hope you get back to riding soon as you feel like it.

Speedy recovery too you! Hope you heal up quickly.

We have a huge rail yard with lots of tracks around here. They can swallow up a tire or "railroad" you off course before you know what happened. My Chinese scooter fell off its stand in the garage last week and did almost that much damage. We learn by repetition and impression....... so  just use one! :D

Glad to hear you ok enough to complain versus the worser...The bike can be fixed, it don't look too bad and I always found a little aloe vera gel after it stops weeping and scabs over a bit works to keep it form getting too tight.

No I am not a doctor, was humanities/pre-law until that incident with the peguin and dishsoap back in my youth.

Get well soon.
