Stingray material that degrades when it get "too wet"!!??.  That seems rather ironic!!

I agree with the toxic butt syndrome comment...   Might be a quick and easy fix to take it to the upholtserer and having him re-sew the center section with something that matches though...  I did that with a corbin that came apart like that and it only cost me $65.00.  (I pulled the seat cover off and took it to them... [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Any 'skin' in a seat that's in the sitting area is prone to disintegration.  Some seat companies will not put skin or fancy hides in the seat area due to this....I know Corbin would not when I had them build me a custom seat.  I'm surprised that the MOCO did in the stingray.  Just like fancy boots, exotic skins are best  used in areas that don't have to 'flex' or have much abuse.  Don't throw that piece of stingray skin away though, it'll make a great looking belt.     [smiley=bigok.gif] Har!  spyder
