Picked up the rest of my stock oil cooler.  I'll take some pix and offer it for sale here b4 listing on eBay.
That's it for Thumper.........still waiting on the headers to come back from HPC.............Rod is holding off doing anything else until he has all the parts in house and do it all in one fell swoop.  No worries or hurries.  Just want it RIGHT!   :2vrolijk_21:

LOL!  This would have been helpful info to have this time last week, Scott.   :(
I don't know if it's been done, or even if it does need to be done.
Is there anything else I need to do?

hehe....that should do it... ::)

Seriously, though, ask Rod about heat coating components...heads, pistons, cam chest components...  anywhere there is friction or exhaust gases flow...

That's a nice addition for finish machine work.  Went through most if it with the red bike its last time through.  Not messing with any of it on the 95 though.  Too base of a motor to get that anal about.  Went to a buddy's machine shop and redid the heads for it today though.  Might even see how much of the six speed, cams and top end I can done tonight and tomorrow.  It's not the only weekend chore though.  But it'd be a nice diversion.

Rod just called.  Combustion chambers are 86cc.

I'm not looking to shave hundreths of a second off my 1/4 or even 1/8th mile runs.  Wait..........I don't even do that sort of stuff.  All that coating stuff ain't gonna happen.  Not necessary.  I like the idea on the headers for no other reason than I won't see discoloration reflection in the cam and side doors, but coating all the other stuff is OTT.  JMHO based on a rather lengthy lecture I just got from............The Professor!

OTT, huh?  Well, guess what, you just decided where your cut-off was in this crazy game we love so much.  We all have a limit/ceiling/cut-off or whatever you want to call it in our quest to make these scooters into what we want out of them....but, there's got to be a limit.  :confused5: :o har!  spyder

Hopped on the FLHR and headed to Hanceville yesterday.  It was little rainy, but not bad.  Ended up being a really nice ride.  Work is progressing.  Header isn't back from HPC in OK yet.  Headwork is done and both are assembled with new Wood's valve springs and components.  86cc each.  Rod had my "AlloyBoltz" case apex bolt chucked up in the lathe for machining so it will fit properly once the spigots are done.  Speaking of spigots, got there yesterday when Rod was taking measurements, doing math, and adjusting tools.
