I got the book today too, but I didn't get the letter . . . .  (and it is a nice book)  :)

Actually, I got "the" letter that comes with the book.  What I didn't get is the letter from the "Technical Service Team" for the No-Cost Product Upgrade Offer.

So I called the dealership, they looked up my VIN  and said there is no "campaign" (that's what they called it) listed on my bike.

So does that mean the upgrade(s) are already on my bike ('08 SERK)?

I'm not sure of the actual production date . . . picked it up from dealer when it came in (6/29/2008)

I got my book in the mail yesterday. I'll take $3,500 for it, and toss in a rebuilt Screamin Eagle 110 engine to boot.

You can look up on the H-D web site to see if there is a service bulletin by entering the VIN number of your machine.

If I am remembering right, the letter states any 110 manufactured May 08 and beyond, already has these Upgrades.

[/qu  I had droped my bike off for a 5000 service my dealer told me bike was not listed for the "campaign". Then the next day they told me that it was done :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

Am beginning to doubt the existence of my book.  Possibly it was stolen by book collector thieves?

Had several Confederates at one time. Now I ride one of them "110 Road Kings. 2007-Black. So far no problems but if I do, I can ride the '47 Knuckle. The post may seem odd but I send that info out because there are so many "new" bikers here and I want all to know how sad it is that H-D would just flat out pretend that they never made a bike with Rebel flags on it.Yes, they will admit they made the bike but you won't see one in their museum or in any of the "Complete" books on H-D.I think it's called censorship.
