Got out for the second long ride of the year. We've picked up an extra month of riding with the weather being so nice in April. Rode through the St. Croix river valley. Trees are starting to green up. Happy days ahead!

Haven't done much on the Beast this year because pretty much everything has been done BUT when I had it in for the 20K service and pre-Sturgis inspection, I had the HD fork brace and Racetek Gold Valves installed with the intent of firming up the front end a bit. When Hoist rode the bike last summer he indicated that the front end got a bit shaky at higher speeds (higher than I am likely to drive). When I picked up the bike I could notice quite a difference over bumps and around turns. Bike definitely doesn't dive as much and seems to track through corners better. Pleased with the results both performance and looks wise. A functional piece of chrome is tough to beat.

Fitment is tight but previous posters on this site have put the brace on DWG1's and DWG2's even though HD says the brace won't fit the CVO Wide Glides so I printed the photos and gave them to my service tech (this site rocks).

When taking the photos I noticed that the fork brace completed a nice chrome frame effect for the CVO coin mounted on the frame. Looks cool.
