Yesterday, I had to go to DC and I decided to ride the bike. It's 200 miles from my house. I left the house 4:30 am and around 5:30 on the road suddenly I smelled burning oil. I thought it must be from some of the trucks on the road. About 8:00, I stopped for the gas and at the pump I saw oil splatter on the back header pipe and on the side of the back cylinder. I check the A/C for blow back, but it was clean. I was pi$$ed off.
This bike was remapped to run rich before left the dealer and I know for fact it runs a lot cooler than my old RK with 88 engine. So the heat was not a problem. It must be crappy materials that was used. Now I have to go for that "improvement upgrade". The service guy said when they take it appart, they will check for lateral move in the cylinder, apparently there have been some problem with that also.

It also appears that the front caliper is warped, the front tire shakes when I hit the from break.

I have less than 6000 miles on the bike.
