But if you rode it to work it'd be worn out by now (wet too!).  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Bought it St. Patrick's Day with 3530 on the clock.

Hit a guardrail 800 miles later.

Bike was off the road 5 weeks.

Rolled over 6400 yesterday...almost at 6500 today.

Don't look at it...ride it.

As you guys know, I've just lost the past year, due to a bad accident.  However, in another thirty days I'll be back on it and making up for lost miles.  I generally put 10-15k a year on.  I'm thinking this next year will be one of the 15k.

They're defiantly not buying them for investment purposes and keeping them in a garage out here in Calif.  I see a CVO at least a couple times a week and it's usually a SEEG......or those are the model that I notice the most easily while shootin down the freeway.

About to turn 10K on mines. Just celebrated its one-year anniversary on July 1. After picking it up last year, putting break in miles on it, having it serviced I took a off for a nine day trip to Sturgis. This year I went to Laconia to (after arriving and seeing how weather was going to be for the next three days I only spent the night. I guess you can say I'm one of those people that would ride forever for an event T-shirt and pin) for the rally. Over half of my miles are highway miles and I have enjoyed every one of them. I will have it in for the 10K service on July 11, and from what I can tell I should have a few more miles on rear tire, and brakes should be in good shape. You don't need them much when you're in the wind on the highway  [smiley=7.gif]. I've been putting more miles on my bikes then I have put on my "cages" I have a 2000 Yukon with only 34K on it, I tell everyone that when it's time to buy tires I'm going to trade it in  [smiley=laugh.gif].

Couldn't  agree with you more. 7,370 of those miles came from one 21 day trip. Now having to wait to get my 10,000 check up at RVHD and also to have them check on a noise I am now hearing when the bike is idling, runs great but makes a clanging noise at idle, coming somewhere on the right side.Almost sounds like a pipe leaking or vibrating, but I know thats not happening. Wow Fender, you occasionally turning the back tire some before the bike starts to more?   [smiley=beerchug.gif]  The red bike has 10k on it now and the bike tire is still just barely on the high side of 4/32
