Longhorns beat #11 Missouri by a lot.  Solid #1 ranking.

McCoy looks like he has real Heisman potential.

Make no mistake, if they can beat Alabama this weekend, it will make their season.  Always a good game, no matter the outcome.

used to be a big rivalry. still is but when i was a teen i remember when we beat the tide one yr, the fans stormed the field, took down the goalpost and carried them down cumberland ave. :orange: :orange: :orange:

neyland was still a horseshoe stadium then.

i hope for the best this weekend. :huepfenjump3:

i attend one game in person most yrs and have not this yet, prolly go watch em whip the cocks. i luv to see spurrier throw his visor. :drink:

just a couple hr ride for me.

I remember that, I was there.  that was 1996 in Memphis and it was U of M that did the same thing.
Easy to remember good wins by U of M, all 3 of them in the last 40 years. ;D ;)
Which is why I say............

Before long Saban will be in that group. I follow the SEC very closely and the work ethic of that man is absolutely amazing. We are talking 16 to 18 hour days, 7 days a week. Every week he reviews not only tapes (every play) from the previous weekend but also every play on the next team on the schedule from the current year and at least one season back. The guy is a machine and his players not only have total respect for him but they adore him also. Both at LSU and UA the players hated him their first spring, by fall they all loved him, even the former starters that he put on the bench. I'm in awe of him and coming from a Tennessee boy, that says a heck of a lot. I understand LSU hated him for abandoning them but I hear Les hasn't changed one thing from what Saban did there.
As for Alabama this year, they are still a year away. Starting 15 freshmen, they are just getting seasoned properly for next year. :2vrolijk_21:

They should be #1 this week! :nixweiss: :2vrolijk_21:

But LSU this weekend and finally we are going to have to face the Gators in the SEC championship game. :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:
I think everyone, even the people that are not fans of Saban will have to admit he is one heck of a coach. IMHO worth every penny he is paid and I'm one of those supporters that put a check where my mouth was and feel it was money damn well spent.

I was at the FL vs TN and FL vs GA game.  Something happened to FL Defense since the Miss game.  They are on fire!  Going to the Vandebilt game this weekend.  It's a great year for the SEC, as usual!  Go GATORS!!!
